As a senior writing for the POV section, this is Fernando’s third and final year as part of The Talon. His passions revolve around development economics, international affairs, and public policy. A patriotic Brazilian with an inquisitive mind and strong opinions, he spends time questioning the multifaceted problems and social paradigms that afflict the world around him. Afraid of currently not finding enough answers to his questions, he hopes one day to flee to the coastline of Brazil, set up a business by the beach, and earn plenty of money from selling açaí and água de coco to gringos while planning a revolution to overthrow the system.
