The Talon strives to be an intellectually proactive, entertaining, innovative and visually engaging student magazine. Our mission holds us to the responsibilities of writing and publishing and we seek to create a magazine that is worthy of its readers.

At times in Print Edition 111, we failed in upholding our mission and values. We would like to apologize to the people cited in these instances and our community as a whole. We are also reaffirming our commitment that all individuals cited in our articles will be asked to approve the citation before publishing. Additional steps will be taken in future articles to ensure that such a commitment is preserved.
