Trump Parties On
The Republican party should be scared of Donald Trump. He is the stereotypical Republican every liberal has been expecting from the conservative party. He poorly articulates most of his points, especially those that are by themselves divisive or controversial, and doesn’t want to seem to want cut his hair anytime soon.
In his campaigns, Trump has appeared multiple times in television where he has made some truly atrocious remarks. Here are only some of the words that have come out of his mouth:
On Katy Perry marrying Russell Brand:
“Katy, what the hell were you thinking when you married loser Russell Brand. There is a guy who has got nothing going, a waste!”
Count Brand and all his fans in for a Trump vote!
On Hillary Clinton:
“Hillary Clinton was the worst Secretary of State in the history of the United States. There’s never been a Secretary of State so bad as Hillary. The world blew up around us. We lost everything, including all relationships. There wasn’t one good thing that came out of that administration or her being Secretary of State.”
Once again, the logic here is unquestionable. Clinton is one of the worst Secretary of State but why not keep funding her. #Trumpmudamais
On global warming:
“It’s freezing and snowing in New York – we need global warming!”
Yep, let’s all accept a few tsunamis here and there for hotter weather. Why not? Thanks, Donald.
On Hurricane Sandy:
“Hurricane is good luck for Obama again – he will buy the election by handing out billions of dollars.”
Such a valid point, Donald. Having hundreds of Americans die is what Obama truly wants!
Indeed, the man running for president of the United States has some time to comment on Katy Perry’s relationship status as well as completely degrade the current president. The worst part of all of this is the fact that Trump has momentum in the polls for the Republican Party, which makes him a viable candidate for winning the Republican primaries and competing for presidency of the United States.
Sure, politics in the United States has had some really dark times, such as when Rick Perry, the Republican candidate who was just tailing behind Mitt Romney in the 2012 elections, forgot the third agency of government that he wanted to eliminate on live television, but never has such a ridiculously stereotypical candidate been in the lead for winning the primaries.
To top it all off, the Republican Party is rendered actionless against Mr. Trump’s ego. If the Republicans drop Mr. Trump, he has announced his running as a third party, giving the Democrats the upper hand.
If the Republicans keep Trump and he wins the primaries, the Democrats will also have the upper hand in the elections.
Thus, in reality, having Mr. Trump run for the Republican party as a primary candidate, is a liberal’s best dream, since it will only help the Democrats gain more votes, and up their chances in winning the elections.
Being a Brazilian citizen, it doesn’t surprise me to have such a comedic figure in politics. One can even see the similarity between Trump and Brazil’s favourite clown Tiririca, who won a seat in congress. In reality the only difference between both these politicians is that one’s famous and the other one has filed for bankruptcy a few times. I think it’s easy to says who’s who.
In case you want to laugh a little bit more, here are some other things Mr. Trump has stated:
“I mean, we could say politically correct that look doesn’t matter, but the look obviously matters,” Trump said to a female reporter in a clip featured on Last Week Tonight.“Like you wouldn’t have your job if you weren’t beautiful.”
“All the women on The Apprentice flirted with me — consciously or unconsciously. That’s to be expected.”
