March Madness
March Madness, the basketball version, is nearly over. Many of us are looking forward to seeing which men’s teams will make it to the championship game after this weekend’s Saturday semifinals between Wisconsin, Kentucky, Michigan State, and Duke. Not only is March Madness a huge college basketball event in the United States, but Graded has even implemented it into some math classes. In my SL math class we each made our own brackets using probability—the unit we’re working on—in order to try to choose the winners for each game. Some in the class were lucky, while others weren’t, and now we cannot wait to see who will will it all.
