Oscar night
The 87th Academy Awards, commonly known as the Oscars, occurred last night, February 22nd. The show started off with a duet by Neil Patrick Harris and Anna Kendrick from her latest movie, Into the Woods. Hosted by Harris, the long night of music, memories, clips, and speeches brought laughter, tears, excitement, and wins. Of the top movies, The Grand Budapest Hotel took home the most awards, with six wins. Whiplash won five, Birdman two, American Sniper two, and one award each for The Theory of Everything, Boyhood, and Still Alice. It was surely a night to remember for people involved with those movies. We can’t wait until next year!
