Sequel to To Kill a Mockingbird set for release
For more than fifty years, To Kill a Mockingbird has stood as an undoubted classic of modern American literature, and is often considered one of the greatest novels of all time. It was Harper Lee’s only published work, until now. Another novel by the aging author has been recently discovered and is now set for publication.
The novel is a sequel to To Kill a Mockingbird even though it was written years earlier than its predecessor. Entitled Go Set a Watchman, it follows Scout, now an adult woman, 20 years after the events of To Kill a Mockingbird as she goes to visit her father Atticus Finch in their hometown Maycomb, Alabama. The book will be released on the 14th of July.
