Richard Attenborough passes away at 90
This past Sunday, August 24, the world lost yet another film legend. Lord Richard Attenborough passed away at the age of 90, only five days before his birthday.
Attenborough had a prestigious career, as both an actor and director, that spanned over half a century. Some of his cinematic credits include the classics The Great Escape, Miracle on 34th Street and Jurassic Park, where he portrayed John Hammond in what was perhaps his best-known role.
